A unique bond of love and family.

21 years ago, our journey began under the most challenging of circumstances—battling custody in court. But what started as a difficult chapter became an extraordinary story of unity and love for the sake of two incredible children, Alexia and Jacob. We realized that the best thing for the kids was to grow up surrounded by love and see both sides of their family working together. So, we set aside our differences and committed to giving them the best of both worlds. What started as a family co-parenting effort blossomed into something much greater.

By the time Isabella came into this world in 2009, the Basulto and Reyes families had already begun to gel into something extraordinary. We were now enjoying a beautiful bond of friendship and shared love.

I was her Tía Angie, and from the moment she was born, I told her she was my favorite. And it wasn’t just words—Isabella had a special place in all of our hearts. She was the glue that brought joy and laughter wherever she went. Her sharp wit, funny and sarcastic humor, and boundless creativity made her unforgettable.

She loved animals, cherished her time playing Roblox with friends, and always approached life with a huge heart and kind words. She brought light and warmth to our blended family, making every dinner, vacation, and holiday celebration a little brighter.

Losing Isabella at just 15 years old to her brave battle with cancer has left an unfillable void in all of our lives. As a family, we are committed to honoring her memory and supporting each other through this incredibly difficult time.

We will never get to see her grow up, graduate, get married, or have children. Those milestones we dreamed of for her are now just memories of “what could have been.” But we can honor the incredible person she was and the joy she brought to everyone around her.

As a family, we are rallying together, just as Isabella always loved to see us do, to support each other through this unimaginable loss. We’re asking for your help in easing the financial burden her family faces, so we can focus on grieving and healing.

We humbly ask for your support to help with the financial burdens her family faces, including:
   •   Medical bills accumulated during her treatment
   •   Funeral and memorial expenses to honor Isabella’s incredible spirit
   •   Day-to-day expenses as the family takes time to grieve and heal

Isabella’s life was a gift to all of us, and we want to celebrate her in a way that reflects the love and laughter she brought into the world. If you’re unable to contribute financially, we would be grateful if you could share this campaign and keep her family in your thoughts and prayers.

Anyway, I would like to add Isabella’s bucket list just to have it in the universe! She was offered a wish through Make-A-Wish that she didn’t want to use until she recovered.

To give you an idea of what her innocent spirit hoped for after her recovery, these are the adventures she wished for:
- Cousin's trip to Hawaii
- See the Eiffel Tower
- Sabrina Carpenter Concert with cousins
- Visit Japan Disney Tokyo and Hong Kong

Thank you for your kindness, love, and support. It means the world to us and helps keep Isabella’s light shining bright.

With gratitude,
Tía Angie & the Basulto and Reyes Families
