Hi everyone

I wanted to share something close to my heart. My nan, Barbara, has recently moved into Halstead Hall Care Home. It’s been a big adjustment, but one thing that’s brought her real joy is the small activities the home provides. These activities keep her mind engaged and create moments of happiness - not just for her, but for all the residents.

The challenge is, due to limited funding, the home can only offer a handful of these activities, even though they make such a huge difference to the residents’ wellbeing. That’s why I’ve decided to step up and raise a little extra support for their Activity Fund.

On September 6th at 3pm, the JEM Studio's team will be taking on the Mud Blast Nuclear Race - a muddy 5k filled with 17 obstacles! We’ll be running, climbing, crawling, and splashing our way through the course to raise money so the home can provide more of the activities that mean so much to residents like my nan.

Every donation, big or small, will go directly towards funding more activities, helping give the residents joy, stimulation, and a real sense of connection.
