Supporting Firle Cricket Club & Love Music Hate Racism
Donation protected
This season, we’re inviting you to sponsor Joe, the 26-year-old captain of Firle Cricket Club, as he scores runs for two brilliant causes: keeping grassroots cricket alive in our village and standing up to racism through the work of Love Music Hate Racism.
Joe lives and breathes cricket—practising all year round and leading by example both on and off the pitch. Firle CC isn’t just a team; it’s a community. In recent years, we've proudly welcomed players from diverse ethnic backgrounds into the side —a reminder of how sport can bring people together.
We’re aiming to raise £2,000 this season. All funds will first go toward helping Firle Cricket Club survive, covering essentials such as equipment, pitch upkeep and match fees. Funds will be also donated to Love Music Hate Racism, an organisation Joe strongly supports, to help promote unity and tackle discrimination through the power of music and culture.
Every run Joe scores will count—not just on the scoreboard, but in the community.
Please donate what you can, share the page, and come along to a match if you're local. Let’s make every boundary count for something bigger.
