Finn’s world was turned upside down when his dad, James, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. At just 9 years old, Finn now faces life without the father who filled every day with adventure, laughter, and love.

Finn and James, along with Heather, Frank, and formerly Cooper & Jack, shared a life full of adventure, seizing every moment from sunrise to bedtime. They explored Canada and beyond - hiking, skiing, mountain biking, and enjoying every moment together. Heather and James dreamed of continuing these adventures with Finn, but that dream was tragically cut short this fall.

On October 5th, James was hospitalized with bacterial meningitis, and despite medical care, he passed away on November 2nd.

James was a great dad and would have done anything he could have for Finn. While we cannot replace the love and guidance Finn has lost, we can come together to support him and Heather as they navigate this difficult journey. Funds raised will help Heather with the everyday costs of raising Finn, ensuring he can continue participating in sports and activities he loves, and, if possible, contribute to an RESP for his future education.
