This Go Fund Me is to support Hugh’s brother and his family through the toughest of times. Dom, Rosie and their girls Effie and Safa are the most beautiful, kind and community minded people you could come across and we are devastated to even have to be sharing this.

Last Sunday, Dom and Rosie got some news that no parent should ever have to get, that Effie has a brain tumor. She was quickly flown from Echuca to the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, firstly to relieve the pressure from the fluid on her brain and alleviate symptoms she was having and then to further investigate what the tumor is and how to treat it. This is obviously devastating and scary, and has been a rough road already with three operations and lots of questions that they are awaiting answers for. Next week they will have a better idea of what Effie’s treatment plan will be and what the next steps will be. Dom and Rosie have been incredible, stoic and the best support team for their brave girl.

So many people have reached out to Dom and Rosie’s families to see how they can help both with work on the farm and to ease any financial burdens that arise. We thought we could start this Go Fund Me as a way to effectively channel any funds that people wish to give, so that we can give it to Dom and Rosie to use as they need when they know more about what they’ll need it for. Dom and Rosie are still awaiting results and a treatment plan from their incredible team of doctors, but should have a better idea of the specific diagnosis and treatment plan next week. I know all of us just want finances to be the last thing on their mind while they focus on their girl.

All funds will be directly transferred to Dom and Rosie. We have set an arbitrary ‘goal’ as the platform requests it, however this is just an attempt at streamlining people’s financial help that they have been wanting to give. Please keep this beautiful family in your thoughts xxx
