Hi everyone, my name is Kristy and I am raising money for our dear friend, David Cox.

For those of you who have been lucky enough to have David judge, teach, or simply cross paths with him, you know he is one of the kindest souls and brightest lights in our dance community. He always has a huge smile on his face and is constantly spreading not only dance knowledge, but more importantly kindness, love, and encouragement to everyone around him.

In recent weeks, David and his family have fallen on incredibly difficult times, and I am asking our dance community to come together to help support them as they navigate this chapter and work to get back on their feet.

In recent weeks, their family has been navigating an incredibly difficult chapter. After experiencing a serious mental health crisis and a brief relapse with alcohol resulting in a vehicle collision, Sarah has had to step away from home to focus fully on her recovery. We are hopeful for her healing in the time ahead, and she will be away for the foreseeable future as she works toward stability and wellness.

At home, David has taken on the role of sole caregiver for George and Norman. In doing so, he has had to step back from work during what is normally his busiest season. While the boys are doing their best and the household is holding together with strength and love, this sudden change has brought significant financial strain.

Despite everything, they continue to stay strong and support one another day by day.

We are deeply grateful for any kindness, support, donations, or even simply sharing this message with others. Our dance community has always shown up for one another in times of need, and I know how much it would mean to David and his family to feel that love right now.
