Dan Sosa is a devoted husband to wife Cindy, proud dad and grandfather, loving brother, uncle, and cherished friend. Now, he and Cindy need our support more than ever.

In early May, Dan began experiencing mini strokes that led to a series of life-changing medical challenges. On May 18, he underwent an emergency tracheotomy to help him breathe, and shortly after, he received a diagnosis that shook our family: stage 4 throat cancer, with lesions also discovered in his brain.

Through it all, Dan’s strength, faith, and sense of humor have remained unwavering. On June 10, he was transferred to a rehab facility to regain his mobility and further heal from his time in ICU. On June 21, he’s returning home to begin the next phase of his battle—an intensive 5-week journey of chemotherapy and radiation, starting with a consult on June 25.

During this critical time, his wife Cindy will be by his side as his full-time caregiver. This means she’ll be unable to work as they both focus on Dan’s healing. Together, they face the mounting weight of medical expenses and daily living costs—things no family should have to worry about while fighting for health and hope.
