<div>Dan Sosa is a devoted husband to wife Cindy, proud dad and grandfather, loving brother, uncle, and cherished friend. Now, he and Cindy need our support more than ever.

<div>In early May, Dan began experiencing mini strokes that led to a series of life-changing medical challenges. On May 18, he underwent an emergency tracheotomy to help him breathe, and shortly after, he received a diagnosis that shook our family: stage 4 throat cancer, with lesions also discovered in his brain.

<div>Through it all, Dan’s strength, faith, and sense of humor have remained unwavering. On June 10, he was transferred to a rehab facility to regain his mobility and further heal from his time in ICU. On June 21, he’s returning home to begin the next phase of his battle—an intensive 5-week journey of chemotherapy and radiation, starting with a consult on June 25.

<div>During this critical time, his wife Cindy will be by his side as his full-time caregiver. This means she’ll be unable to work as they both focus on Dan’s healing. Together, they face the mounting weight of medical expenses and daily living costs—things no family should have to worry about while fighting for health and hope.

Thank you!!!!<br />The monies will really help young women wanting to attend college.  Either for classes, books or transportation...your donations will truly be put to good use.  While the Royal VIP drawing is over, we are still accepting donations for a few more weeks.   Viva Fiesta and thank you all for donations or spreading the news!!<br /><br /><br /><br />April 11--Days away from start of Fiesta!!  You don't want to be left behind.   You could be part of a fiesta parade.   Donate NOW.  Many thanks To all donors!!  Let's keep this campaign going.  <br /><br />April 7 UPDATE --many thanks to friends who are donating.  Let's keep it going!!!  I want you at the parade with me!!! <br />-------------------------------<br />VIVA FIESTA!!  I'm Rosenda Rios and I'm excited to serve as the 2016 Queen for the Latin American Heritage Society (LAHS).    <br /><br /><br />LAHS is a young non-profit organization dedicated to helping improve the community and its people.<br />In addition to volunteering and visiting numerous non-profit organizations, hospital, nursing and children's homes, LAHS also raises scholarship dollars to help young women expand their education.  <br /><br />It means to a lot to these young women to receive financial help. <br />Melanie Delgado, featured in our video, was one of the LAHS scholarship recipients.   <br /><br />ANY AMOUNT you give will be very much appreciated.   <br /><br />We also want to invite you to be part of our LAHS entourage during Fiesta in San Antonio.  Have you or someone you care about ever dreamed of  actually being in one of the colorful parades in our city, NOW is the time.  <br /><br /> For every $125 donation, you will have one entry in a drawing to participate as our Royal VIP during Fiesta.
