Supporting Courtney's Family After a Sudden & Tragic Loss

Of all the things imagined in life, we can say what recently happened over a stretch of less than one week, was something we never thought remotely possible. The family of Courtney Hollis lost a much too young and seemingly very healthy mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt and treasured friend to many. Courtney was a huge animal lover and also a very social person. She truly loved all her friends on social media, especially in her sports groups.

Courtney was at home alone for only literal minutes when she suffered a series of brain aneurysms, one of which burst, causing a heart attack. Courtney was unresponsive and revived, but devastatingly never fully came back to us. Courtney’s family’s world is shattered beyond repair, as she was the center of so many lives. She loved her family with every ounce of her soul and at home, she affectionately cared for her husband and youngest daughter (only 9 years old).

Courtney and her husband Chris are (were) fairly young and healthy, so they had only recently started to think about making more definitive plans for their financial future, including ways to take care of their daughter, as well as Courtney’s oldest daughter. Since these topics were just starting to be discussed, there was currently no will or life insurance provisions for Courtney. Courtney and Chris were a two-income family, and now Chris is a single parent without his rock, with a mountain to climb. Any help we can give him to help support his daughter is what we intend to do.
