My name is Gina Farmer, and I’ve launched this GoFundMe campaign to rally support for Connor Jennings, the son of Cory Jennings and Tricia Jennings—both former colleagues at Cedar Hill ISD.

Connor’s Story

Connor, a high school freshman, embodies the spirit of the game. His love for baseball isn’t just a hobby; it’s a calling. He dreams of making a significant impact on the field, and his determination is unwavering. But life recently threw an unexpected curveball at Connor and his family.

The Accident:

Connor’s father, Coach Cory Jennings—a former Cedar Hill coach—was involved in a car accident while returning from a door-dashing gig. This side job was taken on to help fund Connor’s summer baseball travel. Unfortunately, the accident resulted in a fractured hip and numerous other injuries, significantly impacting Coach Jennings’ ability to work.

The financial strain caused by reduced working opportunities has created a situation where funds are scarce for Connor’s continued development in high-level baseball training. Despite the challenges, Coach Jennings remains grateful for the outpouring of support during this difficult time.
