On September 27th, beloved indigenous artist, activist and devoted mother Noël Bennetto Herkes Tekai passed away, leaving her miracle baby Comet, now a toddler, to navigate life ahead without their mother.

Comet was her reason to fight during her extended battle with cancer; their bond was her medicine that kept her alive far beyond the initial prognosis.

Comet is now watched over and protected by her spirit forever, and we are calling in Noël’s community for support. This fund, a space for Noël's community to gather around Comet, ensures their creative, educational, emotional, and developmental growth throughout the years.

Any and all donations are welcome and will be used for Comet’s basic needs, educational resources, therapeutic supports, and life milestones.
