My name is Ariel Reed, and I’m a close family friend of the Kinleys. With their full support and blessing, We’ve started this GoFundMe to help ease the burden on their family during this incredibly difficult time.

On Tuesday, September 23rd, 17-year-old Carter was involved in a serious accident that resulted in a traumatic brain injury requiring emergency surgery to address brain bleeds.

Carter is a vibrant, active young man with a bright future ahead of him. While we are incredibly hopeful for his recovery, the road ahead will be long and challenging. His healing will require extensive medical care, numerous follow-up appointments, and round-the-clock support from his loved ones.

Anyone who knows the Kinley family knows just how deeply they value family, community, and helping others. They have always shown up for those in need — offering their time, support, and love without hesitation. Now, it’s our chance to give back to them.

To allow Carter’s family to focus entirely on his recovery, they will need to take time away from work and other responsibilities. As you can imagine, this comes with a significant emotional and financial toll.
