Supporting Cam Powell’s family

With the sudden passing of Cameron Powell, our hearts are aching for Cam’s family

Remembering Cameron, Camcho, Cam.

Cam Powell was a successful red seal Canadian carpenter living in Trinec, Czech Republic. With his established construction company, Cam provided high end craftsmanship to his clients in the French Alps. Whether getting contracts from companies to renovate ski resorts in French villages like Courchevel, or providing quality work to home owners in outlying French Alp towns, Cameron created a clientele that appreciated his quality workmanship and customer service.

All of this prominence ended suddenly, when Cam died tragically, leaving behind his loving partner Petra and their 3 children, Sophie, 14, Sam 12, and Ben 9. Cam’s family and friends in Trinec Czech Republic, in Chilliwack BC, and all of his work clients in France are stunned by his passing.

Upon hearing of Cam’s death, many have described him and his carpentry work as extraordinary, passionate, selfless, and legendary. However, we must always remember that first and foremost, Cam was a beloved partner to Petra and a wonderful dad.

As Cam’s older brother, I know many people have been impacted by Cam’s incredible life and want to help his family. All funds raised will go to Cam’s partner Petra and their 3 young children to be used for various expenses, including an education fund for his children Sophie, Sam and Ben. .

We hold dear the memories of Cam’s laughter, his generosity, and the light he brought into the lives of all who knew him.
