Supporting the O'Brien Family in Their Loss

The sudden death of Brooks O'Brien has left his family completely devastated. Brooks was an extraordinary husband and father. His unexpected passing has left an immense void in their hearts and lives. He was their leader, protector, wisdom-giver, cheerleader, provider, confidant, and listener — their everything.

Brooks worked tirelessly as the sole provider for his family. It was always his priority that his wife Kim stay home with their 5 children, the youngest being just now 12 years old. Another one of their children battles a life-threatening illness, making health insurance critical. Brooks remained at Gaylord Opryland for 38 years, specifically for the health benefits, while maintaining three side businesses to ensure his family’s financial stability. His passing leaves a significant gap that is now challenging for Kim and the children to navigate alone.

Brooks wasn’t just a very hard worker — he was an incredible person. Anyone who worked with him, in any of his endeavors, speaks highly of his work ethic, fairness, compassion, and kindness. Brooks wasn’t one person at home and another at work — he was Brooks — 24/7 — with the same dedication and integrity in every role he played.
