Supporting Bentyn’s Battle

I write this with a heavy heart as a student near and dear to my heart is fighting a battle with osteosarcoma. Osteosarcoma is a bone cancer that begins in the cells that form the bones.

Bentyn and his family are looking at 9-12 months of hospitalizations, chemotherapy, radiation and reconstructive surgery. His mom had to leave her job to be his main care taker during this time. With two other siblings at home, Bentyn’s parents will have to take quite a bit of time off of work in order to stay at the hospital and continue caring for their other children.

Bentyn is a bright, kind, and caring 3rd grade boy! He wears his heart on his sleeve and is a friend to everyone he encounters. He loves to play soccer, read, and build Lego’s. He truly brightens every room he walks into. Amber has raised an amazing boy because who she is as a human herself.

This money will help with gas, bills, food, and other items as we know things do add up quickly - even in our times of need.
