Hello dear friends and family of Rosie and Kyara,

For those of you who are yet to hear, it's with deepest sadness to let you know that Kyara passed away on Saturday December 30th.

As you know Kyara was Rosie's whole world and the love of her life. She is beyond heartbroken.

Kyara was an incredibly loving, warm, selfless and truly beautiful young woman. She genuinely cared about everybody she met and helping others. She had her whole life ahead of her. Kyara's goal was to continue helping others by becoming an ambulance paramedic. Her best friend was her mother, Rosie.

Rosie raised Kyara as a single mother. Kyara was her only child. Her whole life was her daughter. They had many future dreams and plans together.

Rosie has worked and cared for many children as a beloved daycare owner and nanny. All the families who Rosie has worked with say their children are who they are because of Rosie and Kyara's loving care. Rosie's goal is to keep helping children. She is currently one third of the way through to completing her Bachelor of Education at the University of British Columbia to become a secondary teacher. Rosie has put herself through university by continuously working as a child care provider.

Rosie is devastated by the loss of her daughter. She wants to complete her teacher training but she will not be able to work at the same time as undergoing her studies. It is just way too much.

Together we can help Rosie finish her teacher training and support our beautiful friend so Rosie can focus on healing and her studies. We can help ease some of the financial burdens such as Kyara's funeral, rent, bills and tuition. She has a great deal to give to the world and she is an extraordinary mother, woman and friend. Our future children need Rosie.
