Unity Studios is proud to be supporting Angus Olsen (of "I Draw Childhood Cancer" - IDCC), as he draws on personal experience and his illustration skills to create visual resources for children and their families facing childhood cancer.

Resources like this, make all the difference to a child who is facing scary medical procedures. The books are bright, the equipment is familiar and they are explaining things that are happening to them right now. His resources have been translated into many languages and can be found all around the world.

I first stumbled upon one of Angus's drawings on social media a few years after our son finished cancer treatment. Our experience was still very raw at that time. With one image and a few words, Angus was able to nail what we were thinking, feeling and fearing. It said - "It's not your fault. You did nothing wrong!". Ahh - it still gets me even now.

The resources Angus creates are available on his website and can be downloaded for free. Angus also provides printed copies free of charge to oncology families. Our fundraising money will go towards assisting with these printing costs - so we need your help to get the word out about our fundraiser.

Angus is the recipient of the 2024 NSW Local Hero, Australian of the Year Award, recognising the work he is doing through IDCC.
