In the last few months, Alicia and her daughter Ava have faced heartbreak that no family should ever have to experience. Most recently, they suffered the devastating loss of Ava’s dad, Matt White — a man who loved his little girl deeply.

Losing a parent at such a young age is something no child is ever prepared for, and the impact reaches far beyond grief. In addition to navigating the emotional weight of this loss, Alicia is now carrying the full responsibility of raising Ava on her own.

These past months have brought more loss and hardship than most people experience in years. On top of the emotional strain, Alicia has been left with unexpected bills, day-to-day expenses, and the full financial responsibility of providing for Ava — from schooling and childcare to groceries, clothing, transportation, and simply keeping life as stable and normal as possible for her daughter in the middle of so much change.
