On 3-2-26, Alan was involved in a devastating house fire. We are incredibly thankful that he survived and is currently recovering at the UofL Burn Center.
Although he is stable, he has surgery scheduled later this week and is facing a long road to healing.
Alan and his girlfriend, Elise, lived together in the home. Elise was there at the time of the fire and, thankfully, is physically okay, but understandably shaken. In a matter of moments, they lost nearly everything — their home, clothing, personal belongings, and daily essentials.
Alan works in manual labor, and because of his injuries, he will be unable to return to work until he is fully healed. This means they are facing not only medical recovery, but also a sudden loss of income during an incredibly overwhelming time.
We are raising funds to help with:
• Medical and recovery expenses
• Living and housing costs
• Replacing clothing and essentials lost in the fire
• Supporting them while Alan is unable to work
Clothing items needed:
-Women’s medium tops, small in bottoms, size 8 1/2 shoes
-Men’s large tops, size 34/34 jeans, size 9 shoes
Donations can be dropped off at designated locations in Louisville, Morehead, Mt. Sterling, and Lexington, KY. Contact me [phone redacted] for drop off info.
If you feel led to give, any amount truly helps. If you’re not able to donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping Alan and Elise in your prayers as they begin this long road toward recovery.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support during such a difficult season.
