Hi, my name is Yesika Gayosso Aoyama and our small town located in southeastern Mexico, Alamo Veracruz, where I came from, where my beloved family, amazing friends and an incredible community, that lives there, was recently devastated by the unprecedented flooding in the huasteca area of Mexico. This campaign is to help them back on their feet, after losing everything they have.
The floodwaters reached in some areas over three meters into the houses. The town is 90% damaged, people lost homes, businesses, farms and ranches, that they worked so hard all their life.
We are overwhelmed but are determined to rebuild. The funds raised will go directly towards immediate needs, such as:
Essential Replacements: Replacing critical items like clothing, medication, and basic household necessities.
Home and Vehicle Repair: Contributing to the cost of repairs for homes and vehicles, which were significantly damaged.
Any amount you can contribute will make a huge difference and help them get one step closer to recovery. Unfortunately, they still have a long way to go.
We will make sure to provide proper proof of your donations, with the support of my cousin’s Sumiko Aoyama and Luis Aoyama we will coordinate the resources and help the people in need.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity. Please consider sharing this fundraiser to help us reach more people who may be able to support rebuild a community. God bless you!
I will like to clarify that I will be managing direct the funds received into my bank account, once’s I have them, I will be sending the funds true my cousin (Sumiko Aoyama) in Mexico city, she is in charge of purchasing and distributing sanitary supplies, like rain boots and gloves, gel antibacterial, face mask (now is a sanitary crisis) the mud is creating infections rapidly. She went already yesterday to Alamo town with two trucks and brought the first round of aid’s. All you’r donations are desperately needed. We will make updates and demonstrations of how we are distributing the items. Please follow this page as I will continue sharing all updates.
Thank you again for your generosity!
