Supporting a Markham Middle School Family

Recently one of our Markham Middle School families tragically lost their father, who was a victim of violence at Nickerson Gardens and passed away. The father leaves behind his wife and seven children ranging from ages 2 - 15, some of who attend LA Unified's Markham Middle School (a Partnership School) and 112th Street Elementary School in Watts. Their mother has requested some funds to take care of the children's school supplies, essentials, and other supports for the family and community. So, on top of the Partnership and LA Unified supports, I'm personally raising money to support that effort and coordinating with Principal Alex Kim. All net funds will go to the family and their children. I've kept their names anonymous to protect the family and especially the students. Thank you for anything you can provide.
