A well known family in the Penrhiwceiber area is facing a heartbreak no one could ever prepare for — losing both parents within just three weeks of each other.

Even as adults, the unexpected and sudden loss of the two people who shaped their lives has left them devastated, overwhelmed, and trying to support one another through the shock.

While preparing to say their goodbyes to their mother Helen Clark, they recieved the devastating news that sadly their father, Granville Davies, had also suddenly passed away.

Granville is also the father to my older brother Neil Davies and sister Julie O'rielly, and the grandfather to my niece's and nephew, and our side of the family is comforting them also. I have always been close to Wayne, and know all of his siblings.

This fundraiser has been created to try and help ease the financial strain that comes with sudden loss, and the many practical responsibilities that now fall on their shoulders.

Any support — whether through donating or sharing — will help give this family the space to grieve, heal, and stand together during an unimaginable time.
