I’m writing this with a heavy heart on behalf of a dear friend and her family.

In January 2026, they experienced a house fire that changed everything. While everyone is thankful that no lives were lost, the fire took their home and nearly everything they owned. In one moment, the place where they felt safe — where they were raising their baby — was gone.

Since then, they have been doing their best to hold things together while navigating displacement, uncertainty, and the emotional toll of starting over. Doing this while caring for a baby has made an already overwhelming situation even harder.

Insurance will help in some ways, but it cannot replace everything that was lost, nor does it ease the immediate stress of needing essentials, baby items, and a sense of stability during this time. This family is taking things one day at a time, trying to rebuild not just a home, but a feeling of safety again.

This fundraiser was created to gently support them through this season — to help with baby necessities, basic household items, and the many unexpected costs that come with rebuilding after a fire.
