On the morning of February 14, while most families were waking up to a day about love, Melvin and Angel, woke up to everyone's worst nightmare.

A house fire tore through their home, leaving them with nothing but the clothes they escaped in. In just minutes, their home, belongings, keepsakes, and memories were gone—everything they had was reduced to ashes.

They lost:

Furniture and everyday essentials

Personal items and irreplaceable memories

While we are beyond grateful that they survived, the reality of starting over from absolute zero has been heartbreaking. There is no easy way to recover from a loss like this—emotionally or financially.

Right now, they are facing the overwhelming task of rebuilding their lives from scratch. They need help with temporary housing, basic necessities, clothing, and eventually creating a place that feels like home again.
