We are Welly and Damon, and we are reaching out during the most challenging chapter of our lives.

On May 8th 2025, our world changed overnight when Damon’s mother had to leave home due to ongoing struggles with mental health and addiction. Suddenly, I became a single father to my 1-year-old son, Damon. To ensure he has the constant care and stability he needs, I had to step away from my career as a Club DJ in Torremolinos.

While being there for my son is my first priority, the financial strain has been immense. I am a Computer Scientist with a background in web development and digital marketing, and I am working hard to secure remote work to cover our daily needs. However, we are facing two critical hurdles that I cannot clear alone:

Legal Stability: Navigating the Spanish court system to secure Damon’s long-term safety and my full parental rights is a complex and expensive process.

Early Education: Securing a place for Damon in school (ages 2-3) to support his development and allow me the dedicated time to work remotely and provide for him.

Damon is now two years old, and while we have made great strides, we have hit a critical hurdle.

Since our last update, we have faced many challenges. After losing our apartment in Torremolinos on December 1st and navigating a difficult period between Granada and Malaga, I am happy to share that we have finally secured both a home and work in Marbella.

However, our path to stability is being blocked. Because Damon was born in Spain to foreign parents, he is not a Spanish national. He requires a passport from his home country to be registered at our new address (empadronamiento) and to enroll in a local school.

Unfortunately, his mother left for Germany without signing the necessary consent for his regulations or passport. Without her cooperation, our legal fees have intensified. I am now forced to pursue a court order to gain full legal autonomy, allowing me to make these vital decisions for Damon’s future without his mother’s signature.

I have worked hard to cover our costs through web development projects and the kindness of friends, but the legal mountain we are climbing is too high to summit alone.

Every penny raised will be used for:

Urgent Legal Fees: To secure a court order for Damon’s documentation.

Education: To finalize his school enrollment in Marbella.

We are so close to giving Damon the stable life he deserves. Your kindness and any contribution you can make means the world to us.
