Amy's Relief Fund
Donation protected
Hello friends, peers, family, and colleagues,
If you're reading this, I'm assuming you all have, in some way had the fortune of knowing, meeting, working with or are someone whose life has been impacted by the beautiful soul that is Amy Speidel.
Amy Speidel, a Bakersfield, Cali native, has been living in New York City for years. She is an accomplished freelance event producer, devoted Christian, volunteer, and incredible friend.
This past summer, Louisiana was hit with the worst Natural Disaster since Hurricanes Sandy and Katrina.
Over 6,900,000,000,000 gallons of rain fell in a single week, over south-east Louisiana and southern parts of Alabama. 40,000 homes have been lost, 13 lives and more than 107,000 people have been affected, and the numbers are still rising.
In September, with a calling on her heart and a yearning to make a difference, Amy listened and decided to drop everything and within a week, flew to Lafayette, Louisiana to help affected victims. Amy will be staying for 4 months, providing victims with relief, rebuilding homes and caring for those in need.
Amy is a freelance professional and sole proprietor. If she's not working towards her next job, she has no additional income.
My name is Colin Miller. I live in NYC and I've had the wonderful pleasure of becoming a colleague and friend with Amy over the last couple years. When Amy shared her plan with me, I was moved and inspired. We each have the power to leave a positive impact and add to our legacy with each step that we take, and Amy is the perfect example of someone who is living a powerful legacy of selfless service.
I am raising money to assist Amy in her incredible effort of service. The fund will be used to help Amy bring aid and relief to victims who have lost their homes in this horrific disaster.
Anyone who knows Amy personally, can without a doubt, tell you she is the first person to offer help, guidance or just an ear to listen. She is wholeheartedly, without a doubt, one of the kindest, genuine individuals I know. She is always the first to help anyone in need. Now it's time we all do what we can to help and support HER on her courageous efforts.
Please take a moment to donate what you can. All funds will be disbursed to Amy Speidel in November (or sooner if we beat our goal!) If you're unable to make a donation at this time, please help spread the word by sharing on social media, with your friends, family, and colleagues.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your time. Now lets all help support this amazing woman.
Sincerely,
Colin Miller
