Tamanna's Accident Fund

Tamanna is from Nepal. She is studying in the U.S. to obtain her Masters of Accounting. She is a student of mine (Matt Pickard). While walking home to her apartment one night, she was struck by a car. The accident broke her right leg in multiple places and her left knee.  Surgeries have been performed on both legs; but Tamanna has a long road of rehabilitiation ahead of her before she can return to her studies.

We are running this campagin to help Tamanna raise money to fly her mother from Nepal to be with her while she heals and goes through rehab during the next few months.

Tamanna is a very cheerful and bright young lady. She's optimistic and extremely grateful for the support she has already received. She has certainly brightened our lives with her smile and laughter.

In addition flying her mother to the U.S., Tamanna is going to potentially have $10k to $40k in medical bills (even after insurance pays out) that threaten to prevent her from finishing her Masters degree. Therefore, we are trying to raise $20k.  Her insurance has denied a rehabilitation home and will likely deny physical therapy.  So we want to raise enough to handle physical therapy and pay a chunk of her future hospital bills.
