Support Zerrie Brown After Tragic Loss

We are raising money on behalf of Zerrie Brown to put towards a trust that will help him long-term. Zerrie’s mother, Dawn Brown, tragically passed away in a car accident on Sunday, October 13 in Clay, NY. Zerrie recently graduated from Cicero North Syracuse High School where he was a high achieving student and was captain of the Varsity basketball team.

Zerrie and his mom lived together and she was his world. Without her Zerrie is now doing things most 18 year olds shouldn’t have to do. Zerrie has barely had time to grieve, as he plans his mom’s funeral, finds a lawyer, and is handling all of the finances for these things and more. Among them is continuing to pay rent on their house, monthly bills, and pursue training to become an electrician.

Zerrie is the world’s best kid - known by everyone for his kindness , generosity, good humor, and incredible character. We are asking for everyone’s help to make sure Zerrie can make it through this terrible time, and continue to grow as a fantastic friend, student, community member, and man.
