Support Zeke's Fight: ICU and Recovery

The Marrie family has suffered an unexpected and devastating medical emergency. On Saturday, August 2nd, Zeke suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm that resulted in a large subarachnoid hemorrhage. Zeke (45) is a loving, devoted husband to Ashley and father to three beautiful girls, Emerson (12), Quinn (5), and Piper (3). Zeke is currently fighting every day in a neuro ICU while being intubated and sedated. Ashley is spending hours day and night by his side, afraid to leave him alone, while family and friends are pitching in to ensure the girls are loved and cared for during this time. The prognosis is still uncertain, and the medical team is taking it day by day. He is responding to commands with intention, nodding his head and giving a thumbs-up, giving much-needed hope to his family and friends. The next steps will be a tracheotomy and feeding tube (PEG) placement. While his hospital stay will be quite extensive, there is no way to determine exactly how long at this point.
