It is with deep sadness that I share the heartbreaking loss of Fernando, the husband of my dear cousin Zaira. Fernando tragically passed away from complications due to an asthma attack while on vacation in Cancún with Zaira and their three young children — Bayron, Aitana, and Dorian.

His sudden passing has devastated our family. Fernando was a hardworking, devoted father and the sole provider for his wife and children. Now, Zaira is left facing an unimaginable situation — grieving the love of her life while trying to care for their three children on her own.

We are raising funds to help bring Fernando’s body back home to Tepatitlán, Jalisco, where he can be laid to rest surrounded by family and loved ones. The costs of transporting his remains, arranging a funeral, and supporting the family during this difficult time are more than one person can bear alone.

The transportation cost from Cancún to Tepatitlán is approximately $31,000 pesos (~$1,800 USD). Any additional donations will go toward:
