Hi, my name is Hannah, and I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my brother, Zack Hendrix — 31 years old, a loving husband, devoted father, and one of the kindest people you could ever meet.

Just four months ago, Zack noticed a mass growing in his abdomen. After weeks of scans, labs, appointments, and finally a biopsy, we were hit with the devastating news: stage 3A testicular cancer.

Since then, Zack has gone through:

• A biopsy to confirm the diagnosis

• Multiple CT scans

• A brain MRI

• A 5-day hospital stay due to dangerously low white blood cell counts

• And is currently undergoing 4 intense rounds of BEP chemotherapy

Zack tried to keep working through treatment, but the chemo became too intense and took a serious toll on his body. Now, he’s had to stop working altogether to focus on healing. His wife, who is caring for both Zack and their two young daughters, is also unable to work right now.

Although Zack is insured, insurance has already begun pushing back on essential services and medications — adding even more stress to an already overwhelming situation.

Zack is smart, funny, and endlessly loving. He’s always been the kind of person to lend a helping hand at any moment — whether it was giving me and my little brother advice, helping friends and family, or building a beautiful life for his wife and girls. His world revolves around his family, and all he wants is to be healthy enough to be there for them.
