Help Honor Zach Brewer’s Legacy for His Daughter Addison
Our dear friend and colleague, Zach Brewer, has recently been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. As a devoted father, a brilliant Systems Architect at Cisco, and a beloved member of the Memphis community, Zach’s greatest joy in life has always been his daughter, Addison, who is just 8 years old.
For those who know Zach, you know how deeply he loves Addison. Whether they’re hiking trails, building LEGO kingdoms, or inventing wild bedtime stories, every moment together has been an adventure. Now, as Zach bravely faces this battle, our goal is to help create lasting memories and preserve his legacy for Addison to carry with her.
Zach has been with Cisco for over a decade, dedicating much of his career to working alongside colleagues and his favorite account who have become like family. His favorite projects weren’t about the technology — they were about the people. He built strong bonds with his teammates, always offering a steady hand, a quick wit, and a heart ready to serve.
Beyond work, Zach is an active mentor, open-source contributor, and a loving father whose world revolves around his daughter. One of his biggest hopes has always been to see Addison grow up with every opportunity to learn, dream, and thrive.
This GoFundMe campaign is set up to:
- Help fund meaningful experiences and memory-making trips for Zach and Addison in the time they have left.
- Create a college fund for Addison, so she has the chance to pursue her dreams with the same drive and integrity her dad has always shown.
