Support Yvelia's Eagle Scout Sensory Stations

Hi! My name is Yvelia Tafoya, and this is the fundraising page for my Eagle Scout Project. I am fundraising to purchase two sensory stations for A House on Beekman, an afterschool in the South Bronx.

The South Bronx is widely recognized as the poorest area in New York City, and even the poorest congressional district in the United States, with high poverty rates and many challenges in access to resources. A House on Beekman is an afterschool for elementary kids in the heart of the South Bronx that exists to "empower the next generation of the South Bronx to live out their full potential."

I have been a volunteer with A House on Beekman for around 2 years, and I have learned so much from the kids, who are all so fun, smart, and curious, each in their unique way. I am so excited to have the privilege and opportunity to purchase and build these sensory stations for them, but I will not be able to do this without you! Will you consider donating to this project?
