On Wednesday the 1st, 7 youth activist were issued noise ordinance citations without prior warning for protesting at a Hilton hotel suspected to be hosting ICE agents. The Lake Oswego Police issued these citations with a fine of $570 per person. The activists were protesting the ICE agents who are disappearing our neighbors from their homes, schools, and businesses and protesting the Hilton hotel allowing them to sleep in our communities. Please help our friends cover their legal fees and associated costs, so they can continue fighting creeping authoritarianism in our country.
