Support "Youth IN change: Yes we (c)are" 2024 in ZEGG!

Hey everyone!

We're Ena from Germany, Kamil from France, Davide from Italy, and Luis from Spain. Together, we form part of the international network "Yes to Sustainability" (YTS), and we're the team behind organizing the training "Youth IN change: Yes we (c)are" at ZEGG ecovillage in 2024.

What is the Training About?

"Youth IN change: Yes we (c)are" is a training course designed for young adults aged 20 to 35 who are eager to immerse themselves in the life of an ecovillage, embrace regenerative living practices, and develop as agents of positive change. This program is ideal for individuals interested in self-development, sustainable living, and community leadership.

Participants will engage in morning activities with the ZEGG community, contributing to community life through activities such as gardening and kitchen support, allowing them to experience the practical aspects of living sustainably.

The training focuses on inner work, self-exploration, sustainable interpersonal relationships (emotional process work, communication skills, exploring conditioning, authentic relationships) and facilitation skills to better hold collaborative spaces and lead community initiatives.

Moreover, the training course is valid as the first part of the official ZEGG Forum training program.

Why is our project important?

In today's world, faced with natural crises, conflicts, and social challenges, fostering participatory leadership, regenerative solutions and resilient communities is crucial. Our project aims to empower young people to become catalysts and leaders for positive change. With the support of the YTS network, we have received annual Erasmus+ funding since 2018. Unfortunately, this year we have not secured EU support.

The Challenge

Without Erasmus+ funding, participants must cover their own expenses, and those with fewer financial resources face difficulties affording travel, accommodation, and meals. However, inclusivity has always been a foundational value in our projects, thus we want to make this training accessible as much as possible.

Our Solution

Despite these challenges, we're determined to maintain this project alive. Through this crowdfunding, we aim to raise:

2,500 € for travel, accommodation, and meals for the team

2,100 € to support participants financially

5,000 € to compensate the team for their dedicated work
