Donation protected
Be 1 in 1000 supporters for The Youth Trust and St Mary's Children's Ward. I am doing a 1000 minute DJ mix. I will add some drumming into the mix, and Fugo Kid is joining me to do some MC'ing. I start at 7.20am and finish at Midnight! I am 16 years old. I did my first festival at aged 12. And last year I DJ'ed at Camp Bestival, Isle of Wight Festival, Victorious Festival, Kendal Calling, Notting Hill Carnival and others. My name is Jamie and I go by the name JAM or JAMROKI.
Here's all the details...
What am I doing? 1000 Minute DJ Mix by JAMROKI raising for THE YOUTH TRUST, ST MARY'S CHILDREN'S WARD, & DEPARTMENT YOUTH PROGRAMMES - BE 1 of 1000 SPONSORS!
When am I doing it? Good Friday, Friday 18th April, hosted at the newly renovated DEPARTMENT
Hi, my name is Jamie, I am 16. My stage name is JAMROKI. I am a DJ and Drummer and I played my first big festival when I was 12 years old with Rascal Raves at Camp Bestival. This is me: My Instagram I had the idea to do a 1000 minute mix (16 hours and 40 minutes) to get 1000 sponsors and raise £10,000. All the money will be spent on:
Who are we raising funds for?
1) St Mary's Hospital Children's Ward to make improvements like getting 3 TVs that can stream (they are stuck on old DVDs) £399 each and £100 for installation (£1197 plus £300)
2) The Youth Trust to support young people from £70 a session
3) Department to support their programmes which support young people with a creative and arts focus, creating better futures
How you can donate?
1. The first, be 1 of 1000 supporters!
£5 to £90. If ok with you, I would like to put your name or logo on the sponsor grid, poster and social media posts when I do my mix?
£100+: If ok with you, I would like to put your name or logo on the sponsor grid, poster and social media post when I do my mix and on social media pots + I would like to dedicate a song/track to you live.
£1000+: If ok with you, I would like to put your name or logo on the sponsor grid, poster and social media post when I do my mix and on social media pots + I would like to dedicate a song/track to you live + I think it would be cool to also do a 1 hour fundraising DJ set at your place of business and work, or somewhere else other than say thanks.
2. Pay for a streaming capable TV as the children’s ward needs 3 in total (if I raise more there are other upgrades needed too):
They need 3!
This is about giving back because of the support and encouragement I've received since I started out. I will be 16 on the day of the event and the support I've received has allowed me to attend a Sound System Futures programme in London, and has led to me being offered a place at a music college. I'd really like to help other young people in need of support and to progress in their own journey. Please join me in raising much needed support for young people! and help do 1000% good!
Also, please do come along and support at DEPARTMENT on Friday from 10am onwards!
Any questions, please feel free to message me @JAMROKI on social media, or @RISELOUD, DEPARTMENT or THE YOUTH TRUST (below) especially if you would rather donate or support directly or have gift aid questions. Please note that no giveaways, or promotions are offered in exchange for any donations made to my GoFundMe. The ideas above are just ideas on how we can make the experience better and show our thanks and to make the experience better for children undergoing treatment and as a way of continuing the fundraiser. Thank you!

ABOUT me and the causes (from the Youth Trust):

Jamie, 15 years old, is a talented DJ and drummer who started drumming at 8 and DJ’ing at 10. He has played multiple festivals and Notting Hill Carnival and is truly a rising star. He has set himself the challenge to do an incredible 1000 minutes of DJ'ing at Department to raise money and awareness for the Youth Trust, the Children’s Ward, and Department's youth programmes.
“Just before christmas I passed 1000 followers and I thought that if I could just get 1000 people to donate £10 each I could do a lot of good for young people less lucky than me. I mean, things have not been always easy, but I have been lucky to have people support me, from my parents to AB to Katie of Rascal Raves and through Rob Da Bank's music club, Widget Productions for letting me to practicee on pro kit before my first festival gig, and DJs like Jaguar Skills and Fatboy Slim, Drummers like Beanie from Rudimental, and the amazing Linett Kamala who was one of the first female DJs to play at Notting Hill Carnival when she was just 15 too. I am super grateful for people recognising what I do and so helping others is something I really want to do. Thank you!” Jamie, aka DJ JAMROKI
