Support Families Displaced by Palisades Fire

My name is Kirsten Crowe Rommes. I grew up in Pacific Palisades, CA.

Watching my hometown get absolutely decimated by these wildfires has been beyond gut-wrenching. All of the memories of childhood, growing up in such a lovely community flood back, and it takes my breath away that it is gone.

So many friends and families still live in the Palisades, often in the same home for 40+ years. It is unfathomable that they are displaced and have lost absolutely everything.

This GoFundMe is created to help these families that lost their home and belongings. They desperately need support at this horrific time!

This money will go towards purchasing items for themselves and their children, helping pay rent on a new home while they go through the mess of insurance, anything they need to help create stability for their family and children.

The families benefitting include:

Kelsey Van Hook, her husband Mitch, their young son, Clark, and Kelsey's mom, Chris. Kelsey is a 3rd Grade Teacher at St. Matthew's Parish School in Pacific Palisades. They lost their multigenerational home where Kelsey was raised, and all of their cherished belongings.

Kendall and Jack Fornaciari, their young son JT, and their pup, Ravioli. Kendall was born and raised in Pacific Palisades. They lost their home and all their belongings.

Charlotte Hunt Harvey, her husband, Steve, and their little girl, Grace. They lost their home and all of their belongings.

John & Bev Riley. We have been close family friends for many years. They lost their home of 30+ years just days before their daughters wedding. Their daughter, Ali and Kirsten went to St. Matthews together.

Kaitlyn, Jimmy & their son Whit Little (2 Years Old), evacuated their home on Tuesday with nothing but the clothes on their backs - and in the blink of an eye, their entire life was lost when their condo building on Via De La Paz burnt to the ground.

I went to school with Kelsey, Kendall, Charlotte, Ali and Kaitlyn at St. Matthew's Parish School in Pacific Palisades.
