Hi, my name is Xiomara, and I’m currently in pre-production on my first short film, SPOTLIGHT, a young queer romance centered around music, connection, and the quiet magic of a single glance.

Spotlight takes place in a late-night jazz lounge, where a musician locks eyes with someone in the crowd during a set. What begins as a quick moment grows into a hopeful story about vulnerability, longing, and the possibility of something new. It’s a love letter to music lovers, creatives, and anyone who has ever felt seen by someone without a word being spoken.

This film is being created with a small independent team of local artists, musicians, and performers. We are committed to building a welcoming, supportive set and giving young creatives the chance to collaborate, learn, and grow together.
