Support Yes We Cannibal's New Community Fridge Shed

The community fridge at Yes We Cannibal was built very quickly and on essentially no budget immediately following Hurricane Ida in September 2021.

A group of volunteer got together over one weekend and used storm wood and sweat equity to get the existing shed into place. It has held up very well and continues to serves many people on a daily basis. All those of us involved with the fridge are extremely grateful to the many donors and volunteers who have kept it going.

But it's time has come. It has become too worn and will be closed shortly and remain closed until this fundraiser achieves its goal.

To replace the fridge shed and pantry with a new unit will cost $3000. A builder is lined up who recently completed another pantry in Baton Rouge, the bright yellow one pictured here. He is able to start immediately so we are turning to Go Fund Me to make it happen.

The new unit will be professionally built to last for many years and will happened right away once we hit $3000.
