Support Yanna: Save Her Home

When you think about Renaissance Faire and Dickens’s Fair, a few names come to mind that helped shape the heart and spirit of the community. Our beloved Yanna, of Animal Angels Porcelain Sculpture, is one of those treasured individuals. She IS Faire! She has been doing both fairs since 1971. But sadly, for the first year ever, she is unable to participate due to severe health concerns. She has truly been there since the beginning and missing this year is beyond devastating for her.

Beginning at the Dicken’s Fair when it was at the Embarcadero, continuing on at the Cow Palace and then on to Renaissance Faire at Black Point, as well as traveling down to Southern Faire from her home in San Anselmo, her whimsical porcelain sculptures have delighted animal lovers for decades! From winged ornaments, to naughty bit pins, to her amazingly intricate sculptures that she is no longer able to create. Our fairs are her only source of income! Just think of how much Yanna has given to all of us over the years, adding to the spirit and gifting us all with her huge smile and generous laughter. It’s time for us to give back to her! Please consider donating however much you are able. Yanna is not able to pay her property taxes and so the main goal of this GoFundMe is to raise enough so that she does not lose her home.
