On August 18th, our dear friend and colleague, Yamarie, experienced an unimaginable tragedy. A fire swept through her apartment, destroying so much of what she and her family owned. Thankfully, Yamarie, her children, and their beloved dog made it out safely, but this loss has been very difficult. 

If you know Yamarie, you know the light she brings everywhere she goes. Her warmth, her smile, and her sense of humor brighten each day. She’s a devoted mom who works tirelessly to support her family. At work, she goes above and beyond every single day, always helping others before herself. She’s the first to step in when someone needs a hand, and now, it’s our turn to be there for her and her boys.

This page is about giving their family some comfort and stability as they recover from this tragedy. Your donations will help replace essentials like clothing, school supplies, and basic household items so the boys can feel at home again in their new place.
