Xena and Darby were on their way to meet the rest of our group of friends for a wedding in Omaha when tragedy struck. They were in a rollover accident somewhere in Kansas and never made it to join their friends. Xena was airlifted to Colorado Springs as the extent of her injuries were being assessed. She has multiple spinal fractures and has been placed into medically induced sedation. Darby has a fractured sacrum but was able to make the transfer to Colorado Springs to be with Xena. All of their friends back in Santa Fe love them as if they're a part of the family, and we need to set up this support system to make sure their needs are met for medical support, housing, etc.
