Hi! I'm Austin Winter, and this year, I am working toward earning my black belt in taekwondo. To me, becoming a black belt is about more than martial arts. It means having discipline, maturity, respect, and helping others through community service.
For my community service project, I am pledging to ride my bike 25 miles between Memorial Day and Labor Day to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project. I chose this charity because my grandfather is a veteran, and I think it is important to honor and support the people who served our country.
Wounded Warrior Project helps wounded veterans, service members, and their families through programs for mental health, wellness, careers, and long-term support. Donations are tax deductible.
Every contribution counts, and together, we can honor our heroes. Thank you for supporting me, my black belt journey, and our veterans!
