Supporting Nepal

Flash floods and mudslides swept through Nepal's mountainous border districts last week, with water levels in some areas rising by up to nine metres in just thirty minutes. Communities across the region are now dealing with the aftermath, and the need for support is urgent.

World Central Kitchen is stepping in. Founded by Chef José Andrés, WCK is first to the frontlines after disasters, cooking and delivering fresh meals to people who've lost everything. Every donation helps WCK buy local ingredients and get their Relief Team moving fast to reach families in crisis.  I've worked with them in the past -- they are a quality organisation that has low administrative costs under José's leadership.

I think we can make a real difference here if we do it together. I'll personally match every pound Kaluzans donate towards this, up to £5,000 in total, so whatever we give collectively, I'll double it.
