Support Woodstock Fest: a community arts and music festival
Donation protected
Woodstock Fest is a music and arts benefit festival hosted at The Mansion, right next to downtown Grand Rapids. The organizers, facilitators, artists and musicians are a group of passionate community members that come together completely on a volunteer basis. In the past we have raised money for local trans community members, and that will continue to be our mission in the future. This year however, we feel the need for Palestinian aid in the ongoing ethnocide in Gaza is the most pressing current issue to address. We have partnered with Palestine Solidarity Grand Rapids to raise funds for the ElMassry Sahmoud Family to survive and leave Gaza for Egypt. You can donate to the family directly on their separate GoFundMe page.
Each year we try to improve parts of our festival, and going into our fourth year, we are continuing to strive and do just that. In the years past, all equipment, food, and other resources used for the festival has either been generously donated or borrowed from community members, or payed out of pocket by organizers. This year, we are reaching out to try and raise some funds to make this year’s fest the best it has ever been.
Donations from this page will go towards things such as:
-Food and beverage for musicians, artists and volunteers
-Gas money for out of city/state musicians
-Sound equipment/technicians/emcees
-Creation of merch (shirts, posters, etc.)
Thank you for your participation in our community event, and we hope to see you there on October 5! Keep up with us @woodstockfestmi on Instagram and Woodstock Fest MI 24 on Facebook
