She is a dedicated teacher and the mother of three children. Despite her strength and commitment to her students and family, she is trapped in an abusive marriage. Her situation is made even more unbearable by Nigeria’s ongoing economic crisis and extreme inflation—currently hovering around 24%.

To put that into perspective: inflation in Germany peaked last year at around 2.6% and even that was deeply felt by many. In Nigeria, this means that the cost of food, rent, transportation, and even basic healthcare has become nearly impossible to afford for an average citizen—let alone for a single mother trying to escape domestic violence without any kind of support.

She is also a woman of remarkable compassion. In addition to caring for her own children, she has taken in another child who was abandoned by their parents. Despite her own hardships, she puts others first and has been a source of love and stability for those around her.

Unfortunately, for her safety and that of her children, I cannot reveal her identity. But I have known her for many years, and I can assure you: she is kind, strong, and determined to build a better life. She has turned to me for help, but I cannot carry this alone. That’s why I am asking for your support.
