Hello my name is William Hellinger and I am an Eagle Scout candidate from Troop 19 at the Flornouy Gethers VFW Post 7470 in Bayonne. I am currently working on my Eagle Scout project which is to map out Bayview Cemetery of all Military Grave sites dating back to the Civil War. This project it is very important to me as I feel we need to honor those who given their lives for us. Currently there is nothing like this anywhere in the state and I feel that this would benefit all the organizations like the Bayonne Memorial Day Committee and the Masons who honor the fallen on holidays. I want to get my group of volunteers to walk the cemetery and document exactly who, and where these grave sites are located. I will then catalogue all of the information and document this on the maps of the cemetery and pass this along to the organizations that can use it.

The funds I am looking for will help me pay for the necessary items needed to make this a success. Some of the items include the pens, papers, clipboards and other items the volunteers will need to work this. The printing and binding services I will need once I have everything gathered together.
