I am William Burkhart from Troop 525, raising funds to fix the Veterans Park ballpark. For my Eagle Project, I will be replacing the rotten wooden backboard so kids no longer get splinters, and I will be cleaning out the irrigation so the fields do not flood. I will also be fixing up the grass line that separates the infield from the outfield and padding down the batter's box at home plate. I am working with the city to cover the costs of these materials, but what I need help raising funds for is the cost of the dugout shelves I will be installing to help store equipment while kids practice. These costs include the plywood, screws, paint, and sealant.
