Support William's Battle Against Stage 4 Cancer
Donation protected
Hey everyone, this is William’s sister in law — I’m reaching out because two of the best people we know need some serious love and support right now.
William has officially been diagnosed with Stage 4 Esophageal Adenocarcinoma, and the cancer has already spread to his liver. It’s the kind of diagnosis that brings life to a sudden halt — where every day becomes a battle and every small moment feels like it matters more than ever.
It all began with a terrifying hospital visit. William was rushed in for life-threatening anemia, and doctors soon discovered a tumor in his esophagus, silently causing internal bleeding. That week-long hospital stay saved his life — but the cost of that alone is expected to exceed $100,000.
Then came the scans, the waiting, the news no one ever wants to hear: Stage Four.
⸻
Now, the Fight Begins
William begins chemotherapy this week, with immunotherapy and possibly radiation or surgery to follow. The doctors are cautiously optimistic and believe he’ll respond well — but it won’t be easy. It won’t be fast. And it won’t be cheap.
At the same time, William is on medical leave from work, and Vicky is doing everything she can — caring for him, managing their home, juggling her job, and still studying to earn her insurance license to help secure their future. She’s worn thin. They both are.
They’ve faced this with grace and grit. But even the strongest fighters need backup.

Our Goal: $40,000
We’re asking for help — not because they want a handout, but because no one should have to choose between fighting cancer and staying afloat. We are fortunate enough to have some homeopathic approaches to offer, holistic ways we are strongly encouraging him to take, diet and lifestyle changes etc. However in the meantime this is the lowdown on the route he is currently heading:
Here’s how the funds will help William and Vicky through this difficult road:
• $15,000 – Out-of-pocket medical expenses, including chemo, immunotherapy, scans, and specialist visits
• $7,500 – Support for lost wages while William is unable to work
• $5,000 – Travel and lodging expenses for treatment days and possible specialist visits
• $4,000 – Past-due and upcoming bills related to his initial hospital stay
• $3,500 – Nutritional needs, home medical equipment, and supplies to help William stay strong through treatment
• $2,500 – A cushion for unexpected costs or emergencies, including second opinions and trial options
• $2,500 – Support for Vicky while she works toward her license and continues to care for William full time
This isn’t about extras or luxuries. This is about survival — physically, emotionally, and financially.

About William & Vicky
If you know William, you know he’s a light in the lives of everyone around him. He’s a dad, a Papaw, a dog lover, a friend, and the kind of guy who’d give you his last dollar without hesitation. He’s never been one to ask for help — but he’s always been the first to offer it.
And then there’s Vicky — his rock, his constant, his best friend. She’s been by his side through every appointment, every meal he couldn’t finish, every sleepless night. She’s not just holding his hand — she’s holding the weight of the world on her shoulders.
They are doing everything right. And still, it’s not enough.

Cancer has taken enough from them. Let’s not let it take their stability too.
Let’s show them they’re not alone — that they have an army behind them.
Thank you for standing with William and Vicky.
They’re not giving up — and neither are we.
