On September 7th, William Johnson got out of the hospital after a nearly month long stay for renal failure. His stay in the hospital ended with him now being reliant on dialysis.

On September 10th, just three days after, Louise Johnson, his wife of over 35 years, passed while he was at his second outpatient dialysis treatment.

For 35 years, they raised children, their own and otherwise. He was a truck driver, and she drove the school bus. Their home is full of momentoes of a life well lived, and a life well loved.

Now he is faced with countless medical bills, debt, and a mortgage he's struggling to pay without both incomes. His life is now full of unknowns while he struggles to find the funds to pay the bills and find new housing, all while dealing with the grief of losing the love of his life.
